Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein features one mad scientist and one creature created by said mad scientist and driven mad by neglect and isolation. This densely-speckled color works up with just a hint of color repeat, with echoes of academic firey impatience among fine wooden bookshelves and weathered leather tomes.

Base: Solnit (Sock) 75% Superwash Merino Wool; 25% Nylon 463 yards / 100 grams
