"Who shall conceive the horrors of my secret toil as I dabbled among the unhallowed damps of the grave or tortured the living animal to animate the lifeless clay?" - Dr. Victor Frankenstein
Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein took inspiration from real life: trends of galvanism and grave-robbing, coupled with Shelley's radical socialist heritage are combined to give us a cautionary tale against unhindered progress. This densely-speckled color works up with eerie aqua hues under dense greenery, lifeless purples, and copper accents.
Base: Brontë (Yak/Silk DK) 60% Superwash Merino Wool / 20% Silk / 20% Yak; 231 yards / 100 grams
Price listed is per one (1) skein of yarn.
All indie-dyed yarn works up differently depending on gauge, project size, and needle/hook size. Swatches are shown in yak/silk DK base, from a previous dye batch, to give an average idea of the colorway.
