Baba Yaga -- Ursula Base (yak sock)
Baba Yaga -- Ursula Base (yak sock)
Out of stock
Baba Yaga is a grandmother witch from Slavic fairytales such as Vasilissa the Beautiful. While many tales portray her as a sinister witch, it can be argued that her origins and her independence from cultural norms also position her a source of wisdom and power as a mother earth figure, or even the Slavic version of Persephone.
This speckled colorway has earthen and forest hues contrasted with rich magentas and grays, echoing the duality of this fairytale figure.
