What do I do with mini skeins?!

All this talk about October 31 countdown minis - you may be wondering: what the heck do I do with them?!

Like many creative endeavors, it really depends on your own personal tastes and the palette you're working with. If you've got a lot of minis to work with, a larger project like a blanket or garment might be the right choice. If you just happened upon a mini skein set that pulled you in with your perfect palette, maybe a cowl, mitts, or shawl could work - or a larger project paired with a contrast or accent color. 

Being of the library world...I nerd out on the capabilities Ravelry has for finding patterns by colors typically used, or by using keywords like "stripes" "colorwork" "minis" or "advent."
