Shadow Lore reveal - October 20
The Juniper Tree; literary form by The Brothers Grimm
The Grimms were influenced by Philipp Otto Runge’s 1845 tale The Almond Tree when they documented what J.R.R. Tolkien called “beauty and horror.” The tale itself warrants several content warnings. Similar motifs are found in tales of the phoenix, and legends of Osiris, Cronus, and Atreus.
