PREVIEW: YarnCon 2026 Exclusive color!
For this year's YarnCon in Chicago on April 11-12, the exclusive bookish color takes inspiration from Chicago artist Emil Ferris' first graphic novel, My Favorite Thing is Monsters.
This stunning (and relevant for the times) graphic novel was drawn by Ferris entirely in colored ball point pens after a life-interrupting event. You can read more about Emil's story and see some of her stunning work in this Chicago Magazine article, The Bite That Changed my Life.
This randomly-vareigated tribute to the book is available on superwash sock base in 100 gram skeins or 20 gram skeins. Speckles in violet, blue, teal, red, black and orange fill a dim blue yarn "page" much like the art that fills the book.

Dyed up just for YarnCon, attendees get first dibs and any leftovers will go online after events wrap up! Will I see you there?
