Find Ex Libris at two upcoming events - a pop up in Pittsburgh and a big fiber fair just outside of Pittsburgh!

May 31, 2025: check out the vendor tent at the Greater Pittsburgh Festival of Books! This literary spectacular takes place at the Main Library and Schenley Plaza from 10-5. Author talks, meet and greets, book signings, and book-inspired vendors.

June 7 2025: don't miss the third annual Fayette County Fiber Festival! Dozens of dyers, spinners, farmers, food trucks, and more will gather at the Fayette County Fairgrounds to share their work. Please bring a canned good or HBA for donation to Connellsville Community Ministries.

Just for these events, I dyed up a color inspired by one of my favorite Maurice Sendak works. Sendak would have turned 97 on June 10, best known for work that sends "messages about how the wider society might neglect or threaten unusual individuals, but also how those individuals might harness fantasy, animal strength, and improvisation to endure and survive." $1 from each skein will be donated to Queer Liberation Library.
