Lavender Leotard -- Shelley Base (NSW Worsted)

This gray/dried-lavender; sometimes magenta tonal is inspired by a “small, distant, ageless, and wholly imaginary” Edward Gorey book with a lavender cover, and notably a lavender leotard that didn’t quite match itself.

Base: Shelley (3-ply Worsted) 100% U.S. Rambouillet/Merino (Nonsuperwash); 240 yards / 100 grams.

All indie-dyed yarn works up differently depending on gauge, project size, and needle/hook size. Swatches are shown in sock base, from a previous dye batch, to give an average idea of the colorway.
